Rodeo kicked off February 25th with Toby Keith. Gary Allan is tonight! Last night they closed up early due to the very high winds in the area. Were you there and was it too windy? (I’d be worried about the carnival rides…)

Kenny Chesney is coming March 12.

Tim McGraw will be Friday March 8.

George Strait’s The Cowboy Rides Away Tour

George Strait will appear at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo’s finale for 2013 as part of his farewell “The Cowboy Rides Away” Tour.

Strait, the King of Country, has appeared at the Houston Rodeo 20+ times over the years, making his first appearance in 1983 when Eddie Rabbit fell ill. Houston loves George and it is hard to think he won’t be back.

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo will reveal at 10am four entertainers scheduled to perform at next year’s event. The Rodeo runs from February 25 through March 17.

And the performers are:

Toby Keith – February 25, 2013
Demi Lovato – March 3, 2013
Austin Mahone – March 3, 2013
Jason Aldean – March 11, 2013
Luke Bryan – March 16, 2013

The complete line-up of entertainers will be released in January.

Ever since the creation of the band Rascal Flatts, they continued to have 3 members only. They are Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney.

This band is considered as one of the best band when it comes to country music. This the the reason why people alway look forward to their albums and tours. For 2012, Rascall Flatts is scheduled for the “Thaw Out 2012″ Tour and it will be on January 28.

George Strait and Martina McBride – Scheduled To Be In A Tour

George Straight was planning to start his tour by January 2012 with Martina Mcbride. He did not reveal the cities and places that they will be going to. However, Straight confirmed in a press release how he loves Martina and how she can make the night special during the tour. He also added that they used to be together in a tour before and she have already witnessed how great Martina Is.

Miranda Lambert

Miranda Leigh Lambert was born on November 10, 1983. She is a great American country music performer who attained popularity because she became a finalist in the 2003 season of Nashville Star where she got the third place. Later she signed to Epic Records.

Lambert made her first appearance along with the release of “Me and Charlie Talking” which was her first single from her 2005 debut album Kerosene. This album was recognized as Platinum in the United States and the singles “Bring Me Down”, “Kerosene”, and “New Strings” were also recorded. All of these four singles leaded 40 hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts.
