Wow, the CMA (Country Music Awards) have announced the latest crop of winners:
Sugarland won Vocal Duo beating out Brooks and Dunn’s long running domination of the award. Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland said, "If we’re standing up here, we have this lofty view because we’re standing on the shoulders of giants who’ve come before us," What a lady!
Rascal Flatts won for Top Vocal Group
George Strait won for Top Album for his "It Just Comes Natural" – I guess it does, for George! In addition he also won for Song of the Year with his hit "Give it Away"
Carrie Underwood won Single of the Year for "Before He Cheats".
