The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ is one of the largest and most iconic events in Texas, blending world-class entertainment with deep agricultural roots. Held annually in Houston, the multi-week event features nightly concerts from top artists across country, pop, rock, hip-hop, and Latin music, alongside professional rodeo competitions showcasing elite cowboys and cowgirls. Beyond the arena, the rodeo offers a massive carnival, livestock exhibitions, agricultural education programs, and family-friendly attractions. Since its founding in 1932, the Houston Rodeo has remained committed to supporting education and youth, contributing hundreds of millions of dollars in scholarships and grants while celebrating Western heritage, community, and culture on a grand scale.
- The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, with attendance approaching nearly two million visitors per year, is the world’s largest livestock exhibition as well as the world’s largest rodeo event, and requires the support of sixteen thousand volunteers.
